How far in advance should I reserve my rental?
Our rental availability is live on this website, so book whenever you are ready. We try to be as flexible as possible, so contact us any time and we will do our best to accommodate you. We often can!
Where do I pick up my rental item?

Come into our sales counter at 225 West Main Street anytime we are open, which is 7-5 M-F, and Saturday 7:30-3. Please check that your rental item is clean and full of fuel (if applicable). 

When is payment due?

Payment is in full is due when you book your rental. You will be prompted to pay at checkout. There are multiple payment options available. 

 
Do I need to gas up my rental before I return it?

Yes, you will need to gas up your gas-powered rental item before returning. Rentals not returned full of gas will be subject to a fuel surcharge. 

How do I bring my rental item back when I'm done?

Return your rental to our sales counter at 225 West Main Street anytime we are open, which is 7-5 M-F, and Saturday 7:30-3. No need to wheel heavy items inside; just come to the sales counter and we’ll help you. Be sure to bring it back in the same condition as it went out, and be sure to fill it with fuel, if applicable. Gas items returned less than full will be subject to a fuel surcharge. 

Do you deliver?

Not at the moment. All rental items must be picked up and returned to Howe Lumber at 225 West Main Street, East Brookfield, Massachusetts. We will probably be adding a delivery service in the near future.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?
You may alter the length of the rental on this website. You can extend your rental as long as it is available beyond your rental period. Keep in mind that your rental may be going right back out to someone else, in which case you won’t be able to extend the rental. 
What if there is inclement weather on my rental day?
Rentals are rain or shine. You have the ability to cancel your reservation before the rental starts if the weather does not look favorable. 
What if I receive a damaged item or can't start a machine?
Call or text us at (508) 867-3232 with any questions or concerns about your rental. Please note that this line is only monitored during business hours.
